Adams & Martin Group is partnering with a dynamic and growing law firm to hire an experienced Litigation Paralegal for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This position offers the chance to support a busy litigation team handling complex litigation matters while providing a potential long-term career opportunity with the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with pleadings, discovery, document review, and trial preparation.
- Manage case files and support electronic discovery, including document review and production.
- Prepare for depositions, hearings, mediations, and witness interviews.
- Conduct legal and factual research.
- Communicate professionally with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel.
- Maintain accurate billing and timekeeping records.
- Provide additional litigation support as needed throughout the life of a case.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience; employment litigation experience preferred.
- Proficiency with legal research platforms, eDiscovery tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and support staff.
- ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate or qualification under California paralegal requirements.
- Flexibility to work overtime and travel as needed for case and trial support.
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing large document productions and complex litigation matters.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with trial preparation, exhibit management, and electronic case databases.
